What is an Aktion Club?
Kiwanis Aktion Clubs are Kiwanis Clubs for Adults living with disabilities with clubs around the world. Aktion Club is the newest and fastest growing member of the Service Leadership Programs at Kiwanis International.

Aktion Club is a community-service group for adult citizens who live with a disability. Aktion Clubs are chartered through the sponsorship of a local Kiwanis Club and community agency. Agency and Kiwanis advisors work together with club members to make the club a
success.

Club officers and members learn leadership, responsibility by attending and running their own meetings, service projects and fundraisers.

Aktion Club members perform a variety of community service projects and fundraisers, food drives, nursing home visits, and Special Olympics fundraisers. Members also learn valuable social skills through teamwork, planning special events, visiting zoos, museums, and sporting events where they share quality time together.

The Mission of Aktion Club is:

To provide adults with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative and leadership skills.
To serve their community.
To be integrated into society.
To demonstrate the dignity and value of citizens living with disabilities.
